Breathe

A minute to stop fighting the entire contents of your brain.

What you need: One minute and somewhere comfortable.

This may help if you feel

Overwhelmed, Anxious, Overstimulated, Worried, Out of control

What you need: One minute and somewhere comfortable.

Your brain has fourteen arguments going on at once. You do not need to settle them all right now.

The tiny version

Give yourself one minute with the breathing ball.

When to try it

Overwhelmed, anxious, overstimulated, worried or out of control.

What you need

One minute. A screen if you want to follow the breathing ball.

What you need to hear

You do not have to force yourself to feel calm. This is a pause, not another thing to get right.

Try this

Open the breathing tool. Follow the ball at a comfortable pace. If that pace does not suit you, breathe naturally or focus on something you can see instead.

Afterwards

Notice how you feel, without judging the result. Decide whether you need a drink, less noise, a break or one small next step.

Journal prompt

What felt different after one minute, if anything?

Keep it comfortable

Do not force deep breaths or hold your breath. Stop if you feel dizzy or uncomfortable.

Notice what you need next. You can stop here.

Next step

Item Title

Choose a small next step at your own pace.
