Imposter Syndrome
Doubting Yourself

When you question yourself, don’t fully believe in yourself, and give the credit away — even when things are going well

Often Feels Like;

like you're making it up as you go
you second guess things after you've done them
worrying people will realise you don’t know what you're doing
you downplay what you've achieved
you feel behind, even when you're not

What might be going on

Imposter Syndrome often shows up when you’re doing something new, stretching yourself, or being seen more than you’re used to.

Your system is trying to keep you safe by pulling you back into what feels familiar.

So instead of recognising growth, it creates doubt.

It can make you feel like you don’t belong where you are, even when you’ve worked so hard to get there.

Nothing has gone wrong here.

This is often what growth feels like before it feels comfortable.

A Small Reset;

Pause for a moment and bring yourself back into the present.

Take one slow breath in… and out.

Then gently ask yourself:

What have I actually done to get here?

Not what you feel — just what is true.
