Build Your Own Spread
Ask the questions that actually fit your situation.
When you know what you want to explore and the usual positions do not quite fit.
Name your questions first. Get comfortable and choose a card for each position.

Make the questions useful
Choose open questions you can reflect on, such as what is happening, what matters to me and what would help next. Name the positions in your own words before pulling cards.
Avoid using a spread to guess somebody else’s thoughts or demand certainty about the future. Focus on what you can notice and respond to.
The practical point
You do not need a complicated layout to ask a good question.
After the reading
Which questions would help me think more clearly?
Write one useful observation and one manageable action. If nothing fits, you can leave it there. You do not need to keep pulling cards until you get an answer you like.
