The Follicular phase often feels like coming back to yourself.

After the slower, more inward energy of menstruation, things can begin to feel lighter and more possible again.


You might notice you have a bit more space in your mind, a bit more energy in your body, and a bit more willingness to engage with things around you.


This isn’t a full-on “go go go” phase it’s more of a gentle build.


It’s a good time for starting things, exploring ideas, or easing back into routines.


If you try to rush this phase or expect too much too quickly, it can feel forced.

But if you move with it, things tend to flow more naturally.

How to work with it

  • Start small rather than all at once

  • Follow what feels interesting or light

  • Use the clearer thinking to plan or organise

  • Reintroduce structure gently

  • Let momentum build naturally

 Think: building, not pushing
