Every thing you need to know before your colour appointment to help your hair look and feel your best

Patch test required

A patch test is required at least 48 hours before all colour appointments, even if you’ve coloured your hair before.
This helps ensure your appointment can go ahead safely.

Avoid box dyes, henna or metallic salts

Please avoid using box dyes, henna, or home colour products before your appointment.
These can react unpredictably with professional colour and may limit what can be achieved.

Be honest about your hair history

Let me know about any previous colour, treatments, or chemical services — even if they were some time ago.
This helps me tailor your appointment and avoid unwanted results.

Healthy hair means better colour

Hair that is in good condition absorbs and holds colour more evenly.
If your hair feels dry or fragile, we may adjust your service to protect its integrity and ensure long-lasting results.
